Our Next Inspired Tasting Menu

April 10th and 11th, 2026

I don't usually "think out loud" on this particular topic but enough people have been asking so this was the prompt I gave Chef Steven for our next tasting menu...

"If we were to open another restaurant, what would you cook to dazzle KC and show them who you are as a chef?"

Here it is! You can be witness to the ground floor of what might be...

Zucchini & Squash

Grilled Zucchini, Squash Purée, Salsa Macha

Fried Green Tomatoes

with Crab Salad

KC Tartare

Smoked KC Strip, Roasted Tomato Vinaigrette

PB&J

Braised Pork Belly, Rhubarb Jelly, & Peanuts, on Toast

Lemon-Thyme Basque Cheesecake

$120 per person. Because space is limited, we now require a $25 per person deposit for all special event reservations. As always, the space will be open at 6:30PM where John will be showing off his new spring cocktails and we will get going as a group at 7PM.

We always look forward to hosting you!

Theme Nights at Wolf Den!

Wolf Den’s mid-century vibe means we’re wine- and classic cocktail–focused plus a featured TV Dinner so you can stay focused on your game or book club chat.

We have many different “nooks” of varying sizes - if you know your group size, let us know so we can save you the perfect spot. Interested in hosting your own book club here? Shoot us a message and we’ll be happy to set aside a cozy area just for you.

Every Wednesday is Game Night

  • Once a month we hold Spines & Vines Book Club. Reach out if you have a group that would like to use Wolf Den as a meeting place on a Wednesday!
